§ Major BOYD-CARPENTERI regret that it is not possible to isolate the cost of collecting the Corporation Profis Tax from that of collecting the other duties of the Inland Revenue Department. The Exchequer receipt of this tax amounted in 1921–22 to £17,516,000 (for the United Kingdom) and in 1922–23 to £18,977,000 (for Great Britain and Northern Ireland).
