§ Mr. PENNYI beg to present a petition with 4,761 signatures of workpeople employed in the manufacture of components used in the building of commercial motor vehicles, praying that the exemption from import duty of foreign commercial vehicles be abolished, and the same import duty imposed on these vehicles as on foreign touring cars. The signatures to this petition come from factories in all parts of Great Britain, and, in particular, London, Birmingham, Coventry, Derby, Glasgow, Huddersfield, Ipswich, Leeds, Lincoln, Newark, Northampton and Sheffield.
