§ Sir M. BARLOWAt 23rd October the numbers of unemployed persons in the lace trade, as shown by unemployment books lodged at Employment Exchanges, were as follow:
§ Nottingham Area:
§ 519 men, 5 boys, 383 women and 19 girls.—Total, 926.
§ Long Eaton Area:
§ 1,032 men, 10 boys, 462 women and 30 girls.—Total, 1,534.
