HC Deb 28 November 1922 vol 159 c477
7. Mr. HANCOCK

asked the Under-Secretary of State for War where the schools for vocational braining of soldiers are situated; whether the results of conducting these schools are satisfactory to his Department; and whether there is any idea of closing them?

Lieut.-Colonel GUINNESS

The training centres in question are at Hounslow and Catterick. The answer to the second part of the question is in the affirmative, but the permanent retention of the centres must naturally depend on whether funds can be made available for the purpose. This question is still under consideration.
