The House met at a Quarter before Three of the Clock, being the first day of the meeting of this Parliament, pursuant to Proclamation. Sir T. Lonsdale Webster, K.C.B., Clerk of the House of Commons, Horace Christian Dawkins, Esq., M.B.E., Clerk Assistant, and Gilbert Francis Montriou Campion, Esq., Second Clerk Assistant, occupied their places at the Table.
