Mr. CHAMBERLAINThe Government have set up two Cabinet Committees to consider the further reduction of national expenditure. One Committee. will deal with the estimates of the Fighting Services and the other with Civil Estimates. Departments have been instructed to submit by an early date sketch Estimates for next financial year, which will be examined with a view to effecting all possible economies. In these circumstances, it would appear inexpedient to set up any other Committee.
