Sir THOMAS BENNETTasked the Home Secretary if his attention has been called to the character of the reports in the daily Press of recent divorce proceedings; and if, in view of these reports, he will consider the propriety of acting upon the recommendation of the Royal Commission on Divorce and Matrimonial Causes that power should be expressly conferred by Statute upon judges to close the Court for the whole or part of a case if the interests of decency or morality so require or, alternatively, to order that evidence unsuitable for publication for the same reason should not be reported?
