Mr. HURDasked the Home Secretary whether following upon the representations of the Somerset County Council and other bodies, he will invite their opinion as to the mental, moral, and physical harm done to children and young persons by certain classes of cinema exhibitions and the means of remedy most suited to their local conditions?
§ Mr. SHORTTI shall be glad to consider any information which the Somerset County Council or any other local authority may think it useful to submit to me on this subject, but I do not propose to make any special inquiries.
