Sir WALTER de FRECEasked the Minister of Health if he can now state the composition of the Committee which is to be appointed to investigate the effect of the Increase of Rent and Mortgage Interest (Restrictions) Act; when it will commence its sittings; and, more especially, whether sufficient secretarial assistance will be attached to it to enable detailed examination to be made of the many points connected with the issue involved which may be brought to the notice of the Committee, either through Members of Parliament or direct from the general public?

Colonel NEWMANWill the right hon. Gentleman see to it that societies which can really speak for the average man should have a place on this Committee?
