§ 43. Lieut.-Colonel POWNALLasked the Home Secretary whether he has considered the possibility where extradition 569 from a country situated like Austria involves crossing one or more other States with the consequent extradition difficulties of arranging for the prisoner to be brought by aeroplane?
§ Mr. SHORTTI am afraid that the difficulties involved by the plan proposed by the hon. and gallant Member would be more formidable than those which may arise when an extradition prisoner is taken through the territory of a third State in the ordinary course. There is no need to anticipate any serious difficulty arising in the present case, if the usual methods be followed.
