HC Deb 06 July 1922 vol 156 c561
29. Major-General SEELY

asked the Prime Minister what definite steps His Majesty's Government propose to take in order to safeguard our air position and to secure the adequate and equal consideration of the needs of all three Services?

The PRIME MINISTER

A Sub-Committee of the Committee of Imperial Defence has completed an inquiry into this question, and its report has been under examination by the full Committee. Before the Government take its final decision, I should be glad if a deputation of four Members of the Parliamentary Air Committee could attend a meeting of the Committee of Imperial Defence, and lay its views before that body.
