§ Mr. S. WALSHCan the Secretary of State for the Colonies say to what extent the Government propose to go on the Order Paper to-day?
§ Mr. CHURCHILLAfter conversation with my right hon. Friend the Joint Parliamentary Secretary to the Treasury, I hope that we shall get the first 10 Orders on the Paper. I am advised that none of them can really be considered very controversial, and it will greatly facilitate the business of the House if we can advance this set of small Bills each one further Parliamentary stage.
§ Motion made, and Question put, "That Government Business be exempted, at this day's Sitting, from the provisions of the
388§ Standing Order (Sittings of the House)."—{Mr. Churchill.]
