§ 29. Sir DONALD MACLEAN
asked the Postmaster-General whether he is now in a position to accede to the request made to him to provide a public telephone box at West Linton, Peeblesshire; and, if so, when this facility will be available for the use of the public?
§ The ASSISTANT POSTMASTER-GENERAL (Mr. Pike Pease)
A canvas is being made for subscribers to a new Exchange at West Linton. If, as is expected, the requisite support be obtained, a public call office will be provided at the same time as the Exchange.
§ Lieut.-Colonel NALL
Can the right hon. Gentleman say whether the revenue to be derived from this new installation will justify the expenditure?
