§ Sir M. BARLOWI am not sure that the course suggested will further the object we have in view, and before coming to a decision I propose to await the advice of the King's Roll National Council, which, as the hon. Member is aware, is now being set up.
§ Sir W. DAVISONIs the right hon. Gentleman aware that for the last 12 or 18 months I have received similar answers from the Minister of Labour, and has not the time arrived to know who the local authorities are?

§ Sir M. BARLOWI am entirely in sympathy with the views expressed in the supplementary question. I have already explained that I think it desirable that one more effort should be made in the direction of voluntary co-operation, to see what can be done.
§ Sir W. DAVISONWill the right hon. Gentleman assure the House that if that final effort be not successful, the names will be published?
§ Sir M. BARLOWThe action to be taken will depend largely on the recommendation of the King's Roll National Council.
