HC Deb 11 December 1922 vol 159 c2372
69. Lieut.-Colonel POWNALL

asked the Prime Minister what decision has been arrived at with regard to the setting up of an Estimates Committee in the next Session; and whether, if one is to be set up, it can be given wider powers under its reference than has been the case hitherto?

Mr. BALDWIN

If my hon. and gallant Friend will put down his question again for Thursday I will then be in a position to make a statement on this matter.

Captain BENN

Will the terms of reference be given as well as the decision?

Mr. BALDWIN

Yes.
