§ 59. Mr. PRINGLEasked the Prime Minister whether, in view of the limitation imposed upon the London Conference in July and August by the issue of the Balfour Note, he is now in a position to state that the Government is no longer bound by that declaration, so that the forthcoming Conference of Prime Ministers may be enabled not merely to deal with temporary expedients but to discuss the lines of a permanent settlement of reparations?
§ The PRIME MINISTERI have already said that I am prepared to discuss the question in all its aspects at the forthcoming meeting of Allied Prime Ministers.
