Mr. CHAMBERLAINI have no information about the proposed concession of an oil monopoly. The attitude of His Majesty's Government on the matter raised in the second part of the question is covered by the terms of the Resolution passed at The Hague on 20th July, and contained in the last section of Command Paper No. 1724.
