HC Deb 06 May 1920 vol 128 c2242
Captain W. BENN

I beg to ask leave to move the Adjournment of the House for the purpose of calling attention to a matter of urgent and definite public importance, namely, "the failure of His Majesty's Government to withhold encouragement from aggressive military operations in Eastern Europe, and its refusal to submit these disputes to the consideration of the council of the League of Nations, under Article XI of the Covenant."

The pleasure of the House not having been signified, Mr. SPEAKER called on those Members who supported the Motion to rise in their places, and, fewer than 40 Members having accordingly risen, the House proceeded to the Business of the Day.
