89. Lieut.-Colonel MURRAY
asked the First Commissioner of Works whether, as guardian of the amenities of the royal parks, it is his view that the temporary buildings in St. James's Park should be vacated at the earliest possible moment and the buildings removed; and whether he can hold out hopes that the buildings will disappear at an early date?
§ The FIRST COMMISSIONER of WORKS (Sir Alfred Mond)
The answer to the first part of the question is in the affirmative. As regards the second part, I would refer the hon. and gallant Member to the answer given on the 25th February last to a similar question asked by the hon. Member for Southwark Central, of which I am sending him a copy.
