HC Deb 18 March 1920 vol 126 cc2396-7
Mr. ASQUITH

May I ask what is the course of business for next week?

Mr. BONAR LAW (Leader of the House)

Next week the business will be simply to carry out the arrangements as to business come to by the Committee, and I presume the House would not wish me to state them.

Motion made, and Question put, "That the Proceedings on Government Business be exempted at this day's Sitting from the provisions of the Standing Order (Sittings of the House)."—[Mr. Bonar Law.]

The House divided: Ayes, 298; Noes, 49.
