Mr. RAFFANasked the Under-Secretary of State for the Colonies how many of the 35,000 Rhodesian natives referred to in the White Book [Cmd. 547] have already been removed from their 2025 holdings; and what financial provision has been or will be made to them in order to cover the cost of rebuilding their homes and kraals upon, and the bringing into cultivation of the new lands, which they have been or are to be located?
§ Lieut.-Colonel AMERYI will ask the High Commissioner for South Africa to furnish a report on the points mentioned.
