Mr. WALLACEasked the Secretary of State for War whether, contrary to Army practice, officers discharged as medically unfit are having their pay withheld from the date of leaving hospital to the date of their discharge from the Army; and, if so, whether he will take 2000 steps to see that the official statement on this matter is carried out?
§ Sir A. WILLIAMSONI think the hon. Member is under a misapprehension. No pay is withheld, as the date of demobilisation and the date of leaving hospital are coincident.
