30. Sir J. D. REESasked the Prime Minister if he will state when the East India Accounts will be considered?
§ The PRIME MINISTERProvision is being made in this year's Civil Service Estimates for the cost of the salaries of the Secretary of State for India and of the Parliamentary Under-Secretary of 1788 State and for a contribution towards the cost of the India Office. An opportunity for discussing Indian affairs will arise, therefore, not on the consideration of the East Indian Accounts, but of the Civil Service Estimates.
