§ Major TRYONThe cost of air pay and allowances of permanent and temporary chaplains for the coming financial year is estimated at £25,000 and of capitation payments to officiating clergy at £4,000. A separate chaplains' service for the Royal Air Force was organised and appointments made to it shortly after the Armistice, but; the question of amalgamation with the Army chaplains' branch is being considered.
