HC Deb 01 March 1920 vol 126 cc22-3
35. Colonel NEWMAN

asked the Prime Minister whether he is yet in a position to make any statement with regard to the continuing, the diminishing, or the abolishing of the bread subsidy?

The PRIME MINISTER

As the House has already been informed, the whole question of the bread subsidy is at present under consideration, and I shall be glad if the hon. and gallant Member will repeat his question this day week, when I hope to be in a position to make a definite statement.
