HC Deb 30 June 1920 vol 131 cc438-9
48. Lieut.-Colonel CROFT

asked the Prime Minister whether the members of the British Military Mission are still prisoners at Baku; and, if so, what steps have been taken to secure their immediate release?

Mr. BONAR LAW

The answer to the first part of the question is in the affirmative. As regards the last part, I would refer my hon. and gallant Friend to the replies already given by the Prime Minister and myself on the subject, to which I have nothing to add. Every possible step is being taken by the Government to effect their release.

Lieut.-Colonel CROFT

Has there been any kind of information in regard to these officers within the last day or two?

Mr. BONAR LAW

Nothing that I know of beyond what has appeared.
