MURRAYasked the Secretary for Scotland whether private builders of workmen's houses in Scotland are required to submit the plans of such houses to the local authority not later than the 30th of this month in order to qualify for the increased subsidy; and, whether, if so, he will arrange to extend the period in question?
§ Mr. MUNROThe question of extending the period within which private builders may qualify for subsidy has been considered by the Government. The regulation requiring plans to be submitted by 30th June has been rescinded, and there is now no restriction as to date of submission of plans.
