§ Mr. BONAR LAWAs stated in the answer given on 3rd June to the hon. and gallant Member for Newcastle East, all estimates of national income involve a considerable amount of guess-work, and my right hon. Friend the Chancellor of the Exchequer is not prepared to give official endorsement to any particular estimate.
