§ Mr. BONAR LAWI am not aware of any general public criticisms in connection with the disposal of surplus clearing stock, and His Majesty's Government do not consider that any useful purpose would be served by adopting the suggestion in the question. During the 18 months which have elapsed since the inception of the Disposal Board, a sum on the sale of surplus stock of £250,000,000 has been realised.
