§ Mr. RONALD McNEILLLast week, Mr. Speaker, I put a supplementary question to the Chancellor of the Exchequer as to whether Mr. McKenna, when Chancellor of the Exchequer, did not express the view that the country financially might be unable to fight the War to a finish. I find my recollection was at fault, and that the opinion was not expressed by Mr. 32 McKenna. By a slip of memory I attributed it to him, and I thought I ought to correct the matter.
