HC Deb 17 June 1920 vol 130 c1418
2. Sir HENRY HARRIS

asked the Minister of Pensions whether he is aware that there are more than 400 cases of men awaiting in-patient neurological treatment in London and the region immediately surrounding it; and whether, in view of the very serious results of delay and neglect in such cases, what steps the Ministry have taken to provide the additional accommodation required?

Mr. MACPHERSON

The number stated is approximately the number of cases awaiting treatment for the whole area covered by London and the Eastern and South-Eastern Counties. Every effort is being made to obtain further hospital accommodation. There are many difficulties to overcome, but I hope that additional facilities may be available at an early date.
