HC Deb 17 June 1920 vol 130 c1438
42. Mr. MALONE

asked the Prime Minister whether Mr. T. B. Hohler, the British High Commissioner in Hungary, has been re-called or relieved and, if so, for what reason?

Mr. HARMSWORTH

The answer to the first part of the question is in the negative. His Majesty's Government have no reason for withdrawing their confidence from Mr. Hohler. The second part of the question, therefore, does not arise.

Colonel WEDGWOOD

Did not Mr. Hohler misinform the Government to the effect that there was no White peril? Has he not since seen fit to review his position?

Mr. HARMSWORTH

It is not true that Mr. Hohler misinformed the Government.

Mr. MALONE

Does that mean that the hon. Gentleman has not read the labour report?

Mr. HARMSWORTH

Of course he has.
