HC Deb 14 June 1920 vol 130 c888
63. Sir H. BRITTAIN

asked the Prime Minister whether he can inform the House as to the amounts which have been received by the League of Nations or its officials up to the present from Great Britain; whether any other nations have subscribed and in what sums, respectively; and what specific amounts, if any, have been guaranteed for the future support of the League?

The PRIME MINISTER

His Majesty's Government contributed £23,000 to the funds of the League of Nations during the last financial year. I cannot, of course, say what proportion of this sum has been allotted to the officials of the League. His Majesty's Government has hitherto received no information as to the amounts subscribed or guaranteed by other nations.
