HC Deb 14 June 1920 vol 130 cc889-90
71. Colonel Sir ALEXANDER SPROT

asked the Lord Privy Seal whether, in view of the fact that the Agriculture Bill affects Scotland as well as the rest of the United Kingdom, and having regard to the different conditions prevailing in Scotland, he will take steps to secure adequate representation of Scotch Members on the Standing Committee which is to deal with the Bill?

Mr. BONAR LAW (Leader of the House)

As my hon. Friend knows, the Members of the Committee are chosen by the Committee of Selection, and I am sure that the consideration which he has set forth in his question will not be lost sight of by that Committee.
