§ Mr. BALDWINThe information asked for by the hon. and gallant Member was published in the weekly return of Tuesday, 1st June. For his convenience I repeat it. The floating debt on the 29th May was £1,283,639,000, and the Exchequer receipts up to that date from Treasury Bonds was £5,025,000. The same information for the week following was published last Tuesday evening.

§ Mr. BALDWINIt is not possible to make a general statement across the floor of the House now. It goes up and down, and probably at the moment the hon. Member's contention is correct.
