HC Deb 09 June 1920 vol 130 cc400-1
51. Colonel WEDGWOOD

asked the Prime Minister whether his attention has been called to the Report of the British Labour delegation on the state of affairs in Hungary; and will he give the House an early opportunity of discussing affairs there and British responsibility in connection therewith?

Mr. BONAR LAW

The answer to the first part of the question is in the affirmative. With regard to the last part, I do not think that there would be any general desire for such a discussion.

Colonel WEDGWOOD

Will the right hon. Gentleman take an intimation through the usual channels that there is a desire for this discussion, as giving a claim upon the time of this House, so that we may discuss the responsibility of the British Government for the State of affairs in Hungary?

Mr. BONAR LAW

If the discussion be asked for in the ordinary way, of course, I shall be pleased to consider it.
