§ 51. Colonel WEDGWOODasked the Prime Minister whether his attention has been called to the Report of the British Labour delegation on the state of affairs in Hungary; and will he give the House an early opportunity of discussing affairs there and British responsibility in connection therewith?
§ Mr. BONAR LAWThe answer to the first part of the question is in the affirmative. With regard to the last part, I do not think that there would be any general desire for such a discussion.
§ Colonel WEDGWOODWill the right hon. Gentleman take an intimation through the usual channels that there is a desire for this discussion, as giving a claim upon the time of this House, so that we may discuss the responsibility of the British Government for the State of affairs in Hungary?
§ Mr. BONAR LAWIf the discussion be asked for in the ordinary way, of course, I shall be pleased to consider it.
