§ Sir E. GEDDESI was not aware that the Waterloo and City Tube Railway had recently abolished return tickets. The authority of the Minister of Transport is not necessary for any increases within the statutory maximum powers of this undertaking. I am making inquiry into the circumstances, and will communicate with the hon. Member as soon as I am in a position to do so.
