HC Deb 21 July 1920 vol 186 c2001
33. Lieut.-Commander KENWORTHY

asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer if he has figures of the imports of gold during the last three months; and how much of this gold was sold by the Russian Government?

The CHANCELLOR of the EXCHEQUER (Mr. Churchill)

I can add nothing to the information published in the monthly trade returns, which show that out of £9,301,000 of gold imported in the three months April, May and June, £2,182,000 came from Russia.

Lieut.-Commander KENWORTHY

Has any further gold come from Russia to this country?
