84. Colonel LAMBERT WARDasked the President of the Board of Trade the amount of American coal imported into Sweden during the first six months of 1914 and 1920 respectively.
The PARLIAMENTARY SECRETARY to the BOARD of TRADE (Mr. Bridge-man)Particulars as to the most recent imports of coal into Sweden from the United States are not at the moment available, but inquiries are being made on the point. It is known, however, that 146,686 tons of bituminous coal were registered as exported from the United States to Sweden in the five months ended 31st May last. During the first half of 1914 no exports of coal were recorded to Sweden from the United States.
