HC Deb 07 July 1920 vol 131 c1439
35. Mr. WATERSON

asked the Minister of Health how many cases of small-pox have occurred in the City of Glasgow this year; and what steps are being taken to prevent the spread of the disease?

The SOLICITOR-GENERAL for SCOTLAND (Mr. C. D. Murray)

I have been asked to reply to this question. The number of cases of small-pox in Glasgow up to the 2nd instant was 306. As regards the latter part of the question I would refer the hon. Member to the reply given by my right hon. Friend on the 1st instant to a question on this subject by the hon. Member for Newton.

Mr. WATERSON

Were four-fifths of these 306 cases vaccinated persons?

Mr. MURRAY

I have not the exact figures, but I should be glad to communicate with my hon. Friend.
