I desire to ask the Leader of the House what business will be taken next week?

On Monday we propose further to consider the War Emergency Laws (Continuance) Bill, as amended.

For the remainder of the week we shall take the Supplementary Estimates in the order in which they appear on the Paper.

What action, may I ask, do the Government intend to take in view of their defeat last night?

The Government have not considered that question.

Can the right hon. Gentleman say when the Second Reading of the Home Rule Bill will be taken, or if not, can he give us an assurance that the Second Reading of the Education (Ireland) Bill will not be taken before the Second Reading of the Home Rule Bill?

I do not see that there is any need to put the two together in that way. It is the intention of the Government to take the Second Reading of the Home Rule Bill as soon as we can arrange it, and after the House has had time to consider its provisions
