§ Mr. CHURCHILLThe answer to the first part of the hon. Member's question is in the negative. A cablegram was, however, sent to the General Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Mesopotamia, asking that Captain Gillespie Smith should be sent home as soon as his services could be spared. According to the latest information in the Department, he is still serving in Mesopotamia.
