HC Deb 23 February 1920 vol 125 c1299
67. Mr. GILBERT

asked the Minister of Transport whether he has submitted to the London Advisory Committee on Traffic the consideration of setting up a permanent London authority to deal with traffic in London and the greater Metropolitan area; if so, has the Committee come to any decision on the reference; can he state what their recommendation is: and if his Department propose to act upon it?

Sir E. GEDDES

The answer to the first part of the question is in the affirmative; the Advisory Committee have the matter under consideration, but have not yet forwarded their recommendations to me.
