§ The PRIME MINISTEROn the invitation of Field Marshal Lord Allenby and with the approval of the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs, it was arranged that the right hon. Herbert Samuel should proceed to Palestine with a view to advising upon questions of Administration and Finance. A communication in this sense was made to the Press on the 9th January last.
