HC Deb 19 February 1920 vol 125 cc1049-50
Sir D. MACLEAN

May I ask the Leader of the House what business he proposes in the normal course to take next week?

Mr. BONAR LAW (Leader of the House)

We propose, on Monday, to take Supply (Vote on Account for the Army); on Tuesday, further progress with the War Emergency Laws (Continuance) Bill; on Wednesday, the Unemployment Insurance Bill, Second Heading; and on Thursday, Supplementary Estimates.

Captain W. BENN

Can the right hon. Gentleman say when it is proposed to print the Government of Ireland Bill, and when the Second Beading will be taken?

Mr. BONAR LAW

So far as other duties connected with the Peace Conference have made it possible, we have been doing our best to get the Bill ready for printing. I still hope we shall be able to give notice of it to-morrow. As to the time for the Second Reading, we shall have that at the earliest moment when we think the House has had sufficient time to examine the text of the Bill.

Mr. ACLAND

May I assume that or Monday it is intended to take the Vote on Account and not Vote A.?

Mr. BONAR LAW

I believe we could not do it, as a matter of fact.
