§ Dr. MACNAMARAThe question of the pay of the Home Dockyard workmen serving under agreements at Hong Kong Dockyard, who are paid at rates fixed in local currency, is at present engaging the attention of the Department. I am not in a position at present to make any statement as to the decision which may be taken, but my hon. and gallant Friend may be assured that there will be no unnecessary delay in dealing with the 879 Petition which has been received from the employees concerned.
