HC Deb 12 February 1920 vol 125 c212
30. Lieut.-Coionel A. MURRAY

asked the Prime Minister whether it is proposed to introduce at an early date a Bill granting statutory security of tenure to farmers.

The PARLIAMENTARY SECRETARY to the MINISTRY of AGRICULTURE (Sir Arthur Boscawen)

Notice has already been given of a Bill containing the proposals of the Government with regard to this and other matters affecting Agriculture, and I hope to introduce the Bill at an early date.

Lieut.-Col. MURRAY

Will there be a separate Bill for Scotland?

Sir A. BOSCAWEN

I cannot possibly answer that. It depends largely on the wishes of Scottish Members.
