3. Sir J. D. REESasked the Under-Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs if he will state how, and by whom, it is proposed that the cost of establishing a permanent health organisation by the League of Nations shall be met; and whether it is proposed that the British taxpayer shall bear any cost of the application of measures for protecting the health of workers of other countries?
Mr. HARMSWORTHI presume that the expenses of an organisation set up by the League of Nations will be met from its consolidated funds, to which His Majesty's Government contribute among others.
Mr. HARMSWORTHit has been stated in this House how much has been contributed to the League of Nations, but I do not bear the exact figures in my mind, if the hon. Baronet will put down a question I will endeavour to satisfy him.
