Mr. LUNNasked the Minister of Health whether his Department has possession of a Report in which an urgent request has been made for an investigation into the local housing scheme at New Maldon; whether this Report was submitted in the early part of June; and whether he will give the matter his early consideration?
§ The MINISTER of HEALTH (Dr. Addison)The Report in question was received, and a special inspection of the houses was carried out on behalf of my Department. This inspection showed that the criticisms of the houses were not warranted. I have directed that a reply shall be sent to the Report.
