HC Deb 10 August 1920 vol 133 c231
66. Major WILLIAM MURRAY

asked the Secretary for Scotland whether he is aware that the number of new holders settled in Dumfriesshire by the Board of Agriculture for Scotland during the years 1917 and 1918 was nil, and that during the year ending 31st December, 1919, one new holder was settled in that county; and whether he will state what number of new holders have been settled in Dumfriesshire since the beginning of the year 1920, and at what places?

Mr. MUNRO

The answer to the first part of the question is in the affirmative. The number of additional holders in Dumfries-shire since the beginning of the year is six. They have been settled at Nether Locharwoods.
